The Civilian Warfighter Cerberus weapon light fires a pulsing burst of green and white light meant to dazzle and disorient at close range. Civilian Warfighter calls it a non-lethal visual disruptor. It clamps onto any in-spec 1913 Picatinny rail on a handgun or rifle, and it also works as a standalone light.
Because all three emitters pulse together, the output is much harder to look past than a plain white beam. Civilian Warfighter first showed the Cerberus at SHOT Show 2024, where The Firearm Blog covered it.
Cerberus Weapon Light Features
- Three front emitters, two green and one white, that fire together in both modes
- Pulsing dazzler mode by default, although a steady flashlight mode is one tap away
- Two ambidextrous buttons that do the same thing: hold for half a second to turn it on, then tap to switch modes and hold again to turn it off
- Reaches the US military JNLWP “compelling glare” level out to 20 metres, then the “hail-warning-suppression” level beyond that
- Rail claw slides along the top spine and locks with four screws, so the light can sit further forward or back
- Green and red battery indicator on the underside, so you know when to charge
Batteries and Run Time
The Cerberus weapon light comes with two 750 mAh rechargeable 16340 (RCR123A) cells. Civilian Warfighter quotes 45 to 70 minutes of pulse mode on a charge, while a typical use lasts well under 30 seconds. Standard CR123A batteries also fit, although run time is shorter.
