The Mare’s Leg layout comes from the classic westerns: a lever gun with a short barrel and a cut-down stock. Morisson keeps that look with a checkered walnut buttstock and a large loop lever. The big loop is easy to work with gloves on. Up front, the black M-LOK handguard takes a light, grip or sling mount. A short Picatinny rail sits on top.
The rifle feeds from a tube magazine under the barrel and loads through a side gate on the receiver. Because the blued barrel is only 12″ long, the gun is quick to handle and easy to store.
