Ceramic Plate Lightweight Multicurve Auxilia Level 4 Silicon Carbide
Proudly Manufactured in Canada
Description
Multicurve Auxilia IV Plates
Our Ceramic Plate Lightweight Multicurve are designed to provide an unparalleled level of comfort, making them a great choice for extended wear.
Lightweight
This plate was designed to increase the user’s mobility without diminishing its ballistic integrity. We have achieved this by bringing the ceramic in from the edge, providing the same NIJ threat protection. Ceramic coverage ends approx. 0.75 inches from the edge of the plate. Our lightweight plates will allow the wearer to be at his or her best for longer as the decreased weight reduces the overall kit encumbrance. This product is a great choice for those who like to stay nimble and light on their feet during the mission.
Our Auxilia Level 4 Silicon Carbide Plates are rated to stop up to .30-06 Armor Piercing rounds.
These plates are constructed of a multilayer matrix composed of silicon carbide tiles and an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene backing plate.
Features
- Lightweight
- Multicurve
- Greater comfort due to the plate’s curvature
- Independently tested by an NIJ certified and NVLAP accredited laboratory to meet and exceed ballistic resistance as specified under NIJ Standard 0101.06
- Standalone
- Multi-hit
- Drop Resistant
- Proudly made in Canada
Auxilia Leve 4 Plates are constructed in a tile configuration instead of a monolithic piece of ceramic, which makes these plates drop resistant and multi-hit rated. This is because the tile configuration allows the tiles around the area of impact to remain intact, thus leading to the plate maintaining its integrity.
