This transparent ballistic visor is designed to protect against handgun threats, and to provide protection for one’s face. These visors are quite popular with counterterrorism and ERT teams across the world, but are especially popular in Asia and Europe. This visor can be mounted to any helmet which has ACR rails and can be stowed in three positions, fully down to protect the face, partially raised bringing it above the brow of the helmet, and fully raised positioning it directly on top of the head to keep it out of the way and to preserve the balance of the helmet. We put three 9mm 124 grain rounds into the front of the visor and as you can see all three where stopped with negligible backface deformation.
