Please note: the 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M2 (pinned 5/30) shown in the photo is not included with this Akdas Alcor tactical build. It comes with one standard Alcor magazine.
Akdas Alcor .223/5,56 Tactical Build – 18.5″ Barrel
The Akdas Alcor tactical build is a standard Akdas Alcor .223 Rem that we set up in store with similar upgrades as the Kodiak Defence Alcor .223 Edition Package. You get the full-wrap handguard, a lighter trigger, an adjustable stock and an AR-style grip on a proven non-restricted semi-auto, with one magazine instead of five.
What goes into the Akdas Alcor tactical build
- Full-wrap tactical handguard with M-LOK slots and a full-length top rail
- AR trigger-pack adapter with a 3.5 lb trigger for a crisp, light break
- Adjustable M4-style buttstock on a buffer tube and castle nut
- Ergonomic AR-style pistol grip
- One standard Alcor magazine
Underneath, it is the same Alcor you already know: a gas-operated action, an 18.5″ barrel with a Melonite finish and a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver. In addition, the integrated Picatinny rail takes a red dot or a scope, and the iron sights stay on as a backup. Because it feeds from AR-15 pattern magazines pinned to the Canadian legal limit, spare mags are easy to find.

Why pick the in-store Alcor build
If you like the Kodiak Defence setup but already own magazines, or only need one to start, the Akdas Alcor tactical build gets you the same rifle without paying for extra mags. It is also a good fit for 3-Gun practice, range days and varmint hunting, and it shoots the same .223 Remington ammo you already use.
